About the album:
Arpita ordered a unique instrument from an eccentric genius instrument maker living West of Munich, Germany. We made a trip there to look at an example he had in the studio, and Arpita fell in love with it. It's a combination of 3 Eastern instruments:
Tampoura, monochord, and Kota.

It opened up a whole new world for her and we started playing together again after what had been a longish break. The freshness and spontaneity that started happening as she explored her new possibilities had me mesmerized, and what came out of my PRS guitar was new for me as well.

All this time we had been singing daily mantras coming from Deva Premal and Miten, and we felt like creating our own set of mantras out of this new direction that appeared with Arpita's new instrument. We invited several friends to join us, and the lively combination of Western and Eastern instruments continued. It really works well for us - we hope you enjoy it also!
